Development Centres

Designed in a similar manner to assessment centres, development centres help benchmark current skills, behaviours and competencies in order to identify areas for development for individuals, teams and organisations as a whole.

Our expert delivery commences with a detailed understanding and evaluation of the competencies which need to be observed and assessed.  More often than not this includes the design of a competency framework.  We then apply the optimum range of assessments and tasks that are carefully chosen to ensure that we capture relevant information. These assessments can include 360 degree feedback, psychometrics including emotional intelligence assessment, situational/managerial judgement tests, individual and group simulation exercises and one-on-one or panel interviews.  The objective is to design a robust assessment so that we can observe and identify development needs at individual, team and even organisational level.

Feedback is then presented in report format to provide personal development planning as well as Gap Analysis at the organisational level.  Additionally, our consulting teams can provide succession planning and advice for restructuring utilising extensive benchmark data where appropriate.

We work in partnership with leading assessment centre materials providers including A&DC and SHL, but we can also design a range of bespoke assessments in house to ensure a robust, valid and meaningful result is achieved.
