Change Management

A leading US owned multinational felt that performance at one of their UK sites was below their European benchmark and felt that change needed to take place within the plant management team.  We met the client and designed a competency framework in conjunction with carefully chosen focus groups, visionary interviews with senior managers and discussions with the HR team.

We then designed a development centre which combined behavioural change with lean manufacturing consultancy (which we carried out with a RHL Associate).  Participants were assessed on their lean knowledge, how they matched the competency framework we had designed and they were rated for their potential for promotion, development needs and key strengths.

The Result

Rapid change resulted from focused coaching, group working and action learning interventions.  Return on investment was immediate and easily paid back the cost of the intervention.  It also gave the client an invaluable insight into the capabilities of their team and an action plan to bring them up to scratch.
